Active Aqua Ultra Low Tray 4' x 8' by Staal Plast

Active Aqua 2.0 Ultra-Low 4X8 Trays by Staal Plast are the ideal low profile flood trays for single tray mobile bench systems. They are manufactured with 3 layers of high impact polystyrene material for extra strength and durability. The top layer includes an anti-UV stabilizer to protect it from color change. The tray channels/gutters have a unique design feature that increases the water level slightly for plants along the tray edges. This can be beneficial for growers using the ebb and flow irrigation method. When water is drained from the tray, the plants along the edges will be irrigated a little longer than the other plants. This design will prevent plants from so called "œrim effect" by combating the increased ventilation along tray edges. The slight lift along the tray edges helps grow a more uniform crop and increase yields.
