Empire Pots Premium Tan 30 Gallon w/ Handles

My blueberry bushes are doing well for now but I wonder how they will do as the roots grow. Will the roots penetrate the planter as it biodegrades? I am experimenting with one 30 gallon planter. I am using it for composting so far so good. The only draw back I see is the vast amount of potting soil it takes to fill the planter. I might consider a smaller diameter but with the same height next time.

I Love Empire pots. I am surprised to discover that this product is unfamiliar to Fla gardeners. This is such an ag heavy farming state this remarkable smart pot should be flying off the shelves! Fla is a veritable swamp when it comes to gardening (despite several successful commercial efforts to monetize the Water Shed into a mud flat in some places). Soil varies so widely here, sandy often and sometimes spreading disease elements that make it impossible to grow a wide variety of plants. These remarkable containers provide greater control and less risk for growing opportunities. The root systems that developes are beautiful resembling gorgeous little capillaries, completely unlike the arthritic like roots we are so familiar with traditional “pots.”. This is what healthy growing looks like. Better yet it finds another use for recycled, BPA free plastic bottles that now is put to use allowing root systems to aerate, drain safely. The price is not to be beat.
